"Love makes the world go round" is the eleventh episode of the second season of the Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi anime series. The episode revolves around the couple Ritsu Onodera and Masamune Takano.
Synopsis[]
Takano and Onodera share an intimate moment in the rain and reflect about their time in school and how they fell in love. A few startling truths are revealed that may change their opinion about each other.
Plot[]
Yokozawa and Takano are at a meeting where Takano asks him did he look over Onodera's project plan. Takano then asks Yokozawa for a minute on his own.

He asks what Yokozawa said to Onodera last night and Yokozawa bends the truth a bit. Takano says then he's being wondering for a while that Yokozawa's attitude towards Onodera is because of how he feels about Takano. Yokozawa just says he doesn't know what he's talking about. Takano tells him their relationship was over long ago and that he loves Onodera. Yokozawa claims Onodera is only messing him around but Takano exclaims that's not true.
He then tells Yokozawa if he interferes with his love life again he can't be his friend anymore. Takano apologizes and Yokozawa walks off and it seems as though he has being crying.
An encounter with Takano
Takano looks for Onodera but Yoshiyuki Hatori tells him Onodera's gone off to the library to return a book. Onodera is walking home thinking if he should talk to Takano when a sudden rain storm starts off and Ritsu runs over to find shelter only to find Takano right next to him.
Takano says he wanted to catch up to Onodera to talk about yesterday. Onodera gives out to him for not telling him about his cold. Takano then tells him about his talk with Yokowaza and why he didn't recognise him at first because Onodera's name had 'changed'. There's a rather funny moment where Takano thought Onodera's parents were divorced but in fact Onodera used the name Oda back in high school to make sure Saga didn't realise he was stalking him. Onodera then gets the shock of his life when he realised what he did while Takano yells at him that he didn't know Onodera's real name for the past 10 years.
The rain overpowers Onodera's voice
Takano says he was looking for him for the past 10 years and that's probably the reason he couldn't find 'Ritsu Oda'. They both end up telling each other about their past. Takano tells Onodera he's in love with the present him and that he's not stuck in the past. Ritsu then says I love you but its interrupted by a sudden rain shower again. Takano feels like he just missed something he should've heard but Onodera refuses to repeat it. Takano takes his hand and kisses him. They kiss and have a very heartfelt moment.

The scene changes to them in Takano's room. Takano confesses to Onodera and hugs him. Onodera hugs back, surprising Takano.
In the morning Onodera bumps into Yokozawa in the elevator. They talk about Onodera's future at Marukawa and Onodera says he wants to stay and edit manga. They get off at the same floor and Yokozawa tells Onodera his project plan is good. He then asks Onodera does he love Takano and Onodera replies saying yes and blushing deeply. He then tells Onodera of he ever hurts Takano and he won't refuse to steal Takano away from him.
A total rejection
Onodera meets Takano in the elevator. They're both in early and they're the only ones in the office. Ritsu finds this very awkward. Then Takano comes over and leans over Ritsu his hand on his. He tells Ritsu the storyboard from Saitou is a total reject. This annoys Ritsu very much as the deadline is next week. Ritsu exclaims Takano is a monster and that he wants to quit this job right now!
